Bocconcini are small balls of fresh mozzarella and Traditional are 30g balls of bocconcini. For food service market La Cassa offer a convenient 220g container with a resealable lid also available in a 1kg container.
The traditional sized bocconcini are perfect to slice in a caprese salad or to tear onto a pizza. When heated onto a pizza, boccocini’s melt into appetising creamy pools, enhancing the pizza topping. Melted bocconcini with eggplant, tomato or olive are also great taste combinations. Product of Australia made with fresh cow’s milk. Best kept in its own lightly salted water. Great for vegetarians as it uses a non-animal rennet and with a unique shape it is desirable to the eye.
